In the first round three teams played against each other answering general knowledge questions based on a single theme. The two teams with the most money moved on. Riddles are asked after each of five sketches solving it gets a prize. But one riddle has Dusty Bin the booby prize, a new dustbin. After three riddles a team is eliminated. The last riddle leads the surviving team to the Major prize.
