Guest TV Roles
Most famous for her role in the 1972 low-budget shocker Frogs (1972), this talented actress has rarely received any large roles. She was originally going to play the lead in 1964's Roustabout (1964). She had a memorable role in the action film Dirty Mary Crazy Larry (1974), though small, and has starred sporadically in feature films and TV movies.
- She is a distant cousin of 'Lizzie Andrew Borden' (qv), aka "Lizzie Borden", the central figure in a notorious axe-murder case in Fall River, MA, in 1892, which gave rise to a popular limerick: "Lizzie Borden took an axe and gave her father 40 whacks. And when she saw what she had done, she gave her mother 41" (she was actually acquitted of the murders).
- In July 2007 she was a guest at the Western Film Fair in Charlotte, NC, along with 'Jacqueline Scott (I)' (qv), 'Betty Lynn' (qv), 'Lana Wood (I)' (qv), 'Joyce Meadows' (qv), 'Rick Lenz (I)' (qv), 'Brett Halsey (I)' (qv) and 'Robert Dix' (qv).
- Her father, Bill Freyse, drew the comic panel "Our Boarding House" in the 1950s and 1960s.
- She was Miss Arizona 1957 in the 1958 Miss America Pageant (won by Colorado's 'Marilyn Van Derbur' (qv)). She was a Swimsuit Preliminary Award winner and also was a top 10 semi-finalist.
