Jessica "Jessy" Schram (born January 15, 1986) is an American actress from Chicago, Illinois. Among her most notable roles are Hannah Griffith in Veronica Mars, Rachel Seybolt in Life, Karen in Falling Skies and Cinderella/Ashley Boyd in Once Upon a Time.
Born in Chicago, Schram developed a passion for acting at a young age. At 10, she signed with a talent agency in Chicago with whom she booked her first commercial for Chuck E. Cheese. By 14, Schram was acting regularly in commercials and competing in various song competitions throughout the Chicago area, splitting her time between acting, modeling, cheerleading and choir practice.
After high school graduation, she secured a number of acting roles while continuing to model and pursuing a music career. Booking the TV movie A Smile as Big as the Moon, alongside Sex and the City 'John Corbett', Schram made the big move to Los Angeles. She quickly landed guest star roles in TV’s hottest shows, including Boston Legal and House.
In 2005, Schram played Susan Davis on Hallmark Channel's Jane Doe series of television movies.
In 2006 she landed on the silver screen, stealing the hearts of men everywhere in the starring role of American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile.
In addition to acting and writing music, the Illinois native is a true philanthropist at heart. Working with Corazon De Vida, a non-profit organization supporting Baja orphanages, Schram often travels to Tijuana for medical missions or orphanage visits. Schram also volunteers her time at the Dream Center -- a volunteer driven organization that offers rehab for teens and adults, a shelter for victims of human trafficking, a transitional shelter for homeless families and mobile hunger relief and medical programs.
