The Academy Award winner has recently received rave reviews for her latest project, leaving critics wondering if she can secure another Oscar nomination (or win) this season.

Jackie may not have a distributor - yet - but that hasn't stopped a large amount of buzz from surrounding the film, in which Natalie Portman portrays Jacqueline Kennedy, the iconic first lady.
The biopic premiered at the Venice Film Festival earlier this month, and, as it next heads to Canada for the Toronto Film Festival, many distributors are taking notice. In fact, it has become one of the most talked about films for sale, with everyone from Searchlight, Amazon Studios, Sony Pictures Classics, Open Roads, and Netflix looking to buy.
Directed by Pablo Larrain, and written by Noah Oppenheim, Jackie is expected to create a bidding war, and, if released in 2016, Natalie Portman is highly believed to receive an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress.

When it comes to award season, Natalie Portman knows a thing or two. For her work in 2005's Closer, the actress received critical acclaim, as well as Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations. She took home the Globe for Best Supporting Actress - Motion Picture.
Then, in 2005, critics hailed her as the "best actress of the year" for her role in Black Swan. Portman went on to win both the Golden Globe Award and the Oscar for Best Actress.
Portman, who has kept a low profile over the past couple of years, was recently seen in A Tale of Love and Darkness and Jane Got a Gun. She also produced both flicks.
