The sequence and all footage of Mandika were cut, but the epilogue of remains, when native warriors find an exhausted Kimberly on the beach. This explains why Bulk and Skull aren't as tired as Kimberly when she arrives on the island.

The Power Rangers originally try to stop Divatox in battle, but the Rangers are defeated and separated. In the film, Jason and Kimberly do not become Rangers again and they are captured together while scuba diving.
