Movie Trivia/Goofs

  • Movie Goof (continuity error): After the truck hits the jeep near the beginning of the movie...the jeep is pushed out of its way twice in succession. No separate camera angles are obvious.
  • Movie Goof (incorrectly regarded as a mistake): SPOILER: Julie is pregnant at the beginning of the whole story. After a whole year she should have had a baby (if she were alive and not dead after the accident). After Nick's time-travel (when Julie gets to live), there's no mention of the baby. However, during their argument after Nick got himself fired, Julie mentioned 'I can't forget what we lost in the accident', implying she possibly had a miscarriage due to the crash - hence why there's no baby even after a year.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): When Nick is in the hospital after the first crash, he goes into a convulsion and the nurse runs in and hits the button and announces a "code blue". That should get every available doctor and nurse in the area to run into the room. Then the mother says he's alright now, yet the nurse never calls to reverse the code blue, and no-one shows up.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): Before the title sequence, when the tire of the Jeep explodes it sends the Jeep into a skid. We see a semi trailer approaching, and the driver of the truck applies the brakes hard enough to cause the trailer to jack-knife (this is shown quite clearly and dramatically). In immediately subsequent shots, however, the trailer is shown braking straight and true and there is no evidence to suggest that it was sliding sideways, but it is impossible to recover from a skidding jack-knife without stopping completely.
