Movie Trivia/Goofs

  • Movie Goof (continuity error): During the scene when Sabine falls asleep at the wheel on their way to Cannes, Mr. Bean grabs hold of the steering wheel and attempts to swap positions with Sabine. During the swap, he forces Sabine into the passenger seat while turning the wheel to the left. In the next scene of the vehicle drifting however, the vehicle is shown turning to the right.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): When Mr. Bean Arrives at Gare Du Nord he leaves the Eurostar that brought him to Paris. When leaving this train we see a red and gray TGV of the "Thalys" class (running from Gare du Nord to Amsterdam or Cologne) opposite Mr. Bean's train. When Mr. Bean walks on the platform and points his video cam to the train windows to make a shot of himself we see a blue and gray TGV (color-scheme "TGV Nord") instead of the red and gray reflecting in the train windows. And there is another continuity error at the same moment: The color around the windows is not that of the Eurostar that brought Mr. Bean to this station.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): When the security guard halts Mr Bean, he is asked for his pass. Mr Bean hands the guard an already opened ID card, but when the guard takes it, he opens it again.
  • Movie Goof (factual errors): "Playback Time" is shown at Cannes Film Festival in its original English and without subtitles. It's a rule of this festival that every movie submitted in and out of official competition has to have French subtitles.
