"If You Think You're Ready For Freddy, Think Again!"

It's been many years since Freddy Krueger's first victim, Nancy, came face-to-face with Freddy and his sadistic, evil ways. Movie Trivia/Goofs

  • The Freddy glove that was stolen from the set of this film was found in another movie: it was hanging on the wall of the work shed in Evil Dead II, released the same year. It was part of a continued banter between directors Wes Craven and Sam Raimi. See The Hills Have Eyes, The Evil Dead, A Nightmare on Elm Street and Evil Dead II for more.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): When Freddy is attacking Taryn in the alleyway he shoves both of his needle hands into her arms. In the next shot, he is shown inserting his left hand into her arm again.
  • Movie Goof (audio/visual unsynchronized): After Kristen wakes up in front of Freddy's house, you can see the children jumping rope and singing rhymes, yet none of the children's mouths are moving. However, it's possible that the singing was merely intended to create a surreal atmosphere on the soundtrack and not interpreted so strictly.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): In the first scene he is introduced, Joey has a tear drawn on his face just below his eye, which is not seen again, nor explained during the movie.
