Movie Trivia/Goofs

  • Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Kostya is waiting outside Monty's apartment catcalling the women that walk by, he refers to himself as Russian: "I make you half-black half-Russian baby" We know from other scenes in the movie that Kostya is Ukrainian and does NOT like to be confused with Russians.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): In the scene in which Naturelle tends to Monty's facial wounds, Naturelle is wearing a sweatshirt which reads "COVENTRY" (the prep school from which Monty was expelled). Near the end of the scene, Naturelle steps into the kitchen to fill a plastic bag with ice. As she enters the kitchen, her sweatshirt suddenly has two letters reversed. It reads "COVETNRY."
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): When Barry Pepper and Phillip Seymour Hoffman are discussing the "bachelor rating" system, Barry's arm (and beer) jumps around between shots.
  • Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): The tattoo on Nikolai's hand means "I'll survive" (not "to survive" as he says). Besides, it is misspelled (in the 3d letter).
